For 2016 we have arranged a tour to a country most of us have travelled through but never stopped in. Vianden is a small medieval town set in a deep valley in the northern half of Luxembourg. It has its own castle and a small river running through its centre. It also has a chairlift taking you to a hill top cafe overlooking the town. Vianden is ideally situated for touring.
To the north is the German Eifel region with many superb roads and a Nation Park region to explore. To the west is the Ardennes region of Belgium. This area around the town of Bastogne has many museums and monuments from WW II and the Battle of the Bulge. To the east you can visit the Mosel valley running up to Cochem and the Nurburgring. To the south is Luxembourg City.
We have reserved rooms at the Belle Vue Hotel which is a short walk from the centre of Vianden. We will be staying there for 5 nights all at Half Board. The hotel has different types of single and double rooms with their Luxury Double rooms all having a balcony. The hotel also has a large indoor pool with a light show, whirlpools and sauna. It has indoor secure parking for our bikes.
If you would like to join us please complete the attached booking form. As always places are limited with a total of only 10 single and 25 double/twin rooms available.
Free pre-tour visual health check is offered for your bike to ensure the safety of all riders on tour.
